Mom carried red roses and white calla lilies at her wedding, so that is what we chose for the party. The cake had a centrepiece of red roses and a white calla. The tables had bud vases with red roses. The focal point for church, and later for the reception, was a large bouquet of roses and callas.

Susan!!!! I'm so happy to have found your blog. I went over to piece of cake to sign up for their give away and saw blue heron. That name rang a bell so I clicked, and there you were. Are you coming to Shipshe in the fall?
It looks like you had a wonderful time. Now that things are settling down, maybe you will have more time to add to your blog and get back to miniatures. I look forward to following your blog.
